The commonly used plasticizer DEHP in PVC materials has been confirmed to pose serious risks to human health. Studies have shown that DEHP can migrate from PVC medical devices (such as infusion tubes, blood bags, catheters, etc.) into medications or blood. Long-term exposure may lead to liver toxicity, endocrine disruption, reproductive system damage, and an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, DEHP is particularly harmful to infants, young children, and pregnant women, potentially affecting fetal development and causing health issues in premature or newborn babies. When incinerated, PVC containing DEHP releases toxic substances, polluting the environment.
Therefore, to ensure patient health and protect the environment, all of our PVC products are DEHP-free.
