Beijing, September 15, 2026 — The China–Argentina Biomedical and Medical Device Matchmaking Conference, hosted by the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), was held in Beijing today, bringing together government officials, academic leaders, and business representatives from both countries to explore cooperation in the biomedical and medical device sectors.
Our company participated in the conference and presented its portfolio of enteral and parenteral nutrition devices and consumables. The presentation focused on our enteral nutrition pumps, nasogastric feeding tubes, parenteral nutrition bags, and PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) products. These products are designed to support clinical nutrition therapy for patients who require specialized feeding and intravenous delivery systems, and they drew considerable interest from the Argentine delegates.
The conference was attended by a distinguished group of guests from Argentina, including officials from the Argentine Ministry of Health, the President of the National University of Arturo Jauretche, the Coordinator of the Bioengineering Program, and the Dean of the School of Medicine at the National University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP). Chinese enterprise representatives and industry friends also joined the event, creating a dynamic platform for dialogue and partnership.
During the presentation session, we introduced our company's capabilities in research and development, manufacturing, and quality control for enteral and parenteral nutrition devices. We highlighted how our products can address clinical needs in both hospital and home-care settings, and how they align with international standards for safety and reliability.
After the formal presentations, participants engaged in in-depth discussions. Our team held separate meetings with the Argentine delegates to explore potential collaboration in product distribution, clinical training, and joint research. The Argentine representatives expressed interest in understanding how Chinese medical device technologies could support their healthcare system, particularly in the areas of clinical nutrition and vascular access.
The conference also underscored the broader context of China–Argentina relations. Both countries are partners under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which has opened new avenues for cooperation in trade, infrastructure, and people-to-people exchanges. In the healthcare sector, this partnership creates opportunities for technology transfer, market access, and joint development of medical solutions that benefit patients in both countries.
Looking ahead, we see strong potential for follow-up cooperation. The discussions in Beijing laid the groundwork for further exchanges, including possible visits, product evaluations, and pilot programs.
